That’s why she never stops drawing characters and creating stories for them. So, they move from her head to a new book-shaped house. Those characters are colourful, tender and very funny, and they bring us back a lot of kisses and hugs that cannot be seen, but readers can feel them just looking at the drawings.

Mónica has won some international awards such as the London Book Fair, Latino Book Awards and BookExpo America in New York.

She has published with Cuento de Luz, Siete Leguas, Anaya, Pearson, Siruela, Imaginarium, Teide, Santillana and Grimm Press and has collaborated in several magazines.
